The weekend conference for the members of the First Class of the School of Spiritual Science integrated with the open seminar in Moscow

IS CANCELED because of the coronavirus.

will explore Rudolf Steiner’s approach to the meditation in theory and practice with presentations, workshops and discussion.

Headed by Joan Sleigh (Executive Council Goetheanum, CH) and Bart Vanmechelen (General Secretary ASinBE), we are going to explore the characteristics of the anthroposophical meditation and it’s role in the individual development of the soul.

The task of the conference is to connect the efforts of the Anthroposophical Society, the Anthroposophical Movement and the School of Spiritual Science in the Russian cultural space in order to relate the anthroposophical meditation to the ordinary daily practice as well as to the inner quest of deepening self-knowledge.

“Educating our feelings, thoughts, and moods in the ways indicated [here], fashions an organisation in our soul and our spirit similar to the one produced by nature in the physical body. Without such a training, our soul and spirit remain unstructured masses. In this state, clairvoyant seers perceive them as intertwined, spiralling, cloud-like vortices…. After esoteric training, however, the vortices display an orderly structure”

– Rudolf Steiner, Knowledge of Higher Worlds. p.83
